  • End of season honours handed out
  • Swiss star among those in attendance
  • One fixture remaining in WSL campaign

Lehmann was all smiles as she arrived at the glitzy awards do, and spent most of the night beaming as she rubbed shoulders with club colleagues. Many of those in attendance appeared to be following a black dress code, with Lehmann’s attire incorporating golden detail.

DID YOU KNOW?

The 25-year-old has only managed four goals this season, with just two of those coming in the WSL, as others did more to catch the eye. Kirsty Hanson won Villa’s Players’ Player of the Season, while Rachel Daly was named Supporters’ Player of the Season. The former Lionesses star, who announced her retirement from England duty in April, was also awarded a special prize to recognise her European Championship-winning international career.
