- Havertz set to back Spurs
- Arsenal need City to drop points on Tuesday
- Gunners registered 1-0 win over Man Utd
WHAT HAPPENED?
After registering a narrow 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, Arsenal reclaimed the top position in the Premier League from Manchester City. They will now hope that their arch-rivals Tottenham do them a favour in the title race by taking at least a point from the reigning champions.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
After the important win over the Red Devils, Gunners star Kai Havertz claimed that he is all set to back Spurs in Tuesday’s clash as he claimed he will be The Lilywhites’ ‘biggest fan ever’. If Ange Postecoglou’s side manage to hold Pep Guardiola’s men in the midweek, then the title could be decided on goal difference.
WHAT KAI HAVERTZ SAID
Speaking to Sky Sports, the German attacker said, “I’m going to be the biggest fan of Tottenham ever.”
