WHAT HAPPENED?
Tottenham have confirmed Gray’s arrival on a six-year contract, while Leeds have released their own statement expressing their sadness over his exit. “Everyone at Leeds United is heartbroken to see one of our own depart and would like to thank Archie for all his efforts and professionalism,” a statement on the club’s website reads. “He leaves with the very best wishes for his future career and in the knowledge that Leeds will always be his home.”
Gray is Spurs’ third signing of the summer so far, with Lucas Bergvall arriving from Swedish side Djurgarden and Timo Werner committing to another season at the club on loan from RB Leipzig.
