- Russo and Toone hid Stanway in a suitcase
- Spoke about their childhood pranks
- England take on France in Euro qualifiers
WHAT HAPPENED?
Russo and Toone claimed that they were absolute pranksters in their youngster days as they claimed they hid Lionesses team-mate and Bayern Munich star Georgia Stanway in a suitcase in 2017 while they were part of the England squad at the U17 Women’s World Cup.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
The Arsenal and Manchester United stars also recalled their mischievous childhood days while they attended classes of an educational officer named Mike at the British embassy in Belarus before their GCSE exams. The duo stated that they still kept in touch with the officer and claimed they were his favourite students despite all their pranks during his classes.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID
Speaking on their podcast, Russo said: “I remember when we were at the World Cup in Jordan, we must have been about 15, 16 years old and we hid one of the girls in a suitcase.
Toone then interrupted and said, “Yeah we hid Georgia Stanway! There’s a video of her and we were dragging her round and that and Mike’s going, ‘Girls! Get back to your schoolwork! Can you just do your work?'”
They did WHAT to Georgia Stanway?!
