However, Erik ten Hag’s men can still hope for a little turnaround as they can book a spot in the Europa League by defeating reigning treble winners Manchester City in the FA Cup final on May 25.

Manchester United are heading back to the US this summer as part of their preparations for the 2024-25 season. The Red Devils will meet Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium on July 27, then set to clash against Real Betis at the Snapdragon Stadium on July 31, before facing Liverpool at the Williams-Brice Stadium on August 3.
However, before heading to the U.S., Ten Hag’s charges are also set to play club friendlies against Rosenborg and Rangers in Norway and Scotland on July 15 and 20, respectively.

However, all the aforementioned club friendly games should be available to watch on Manchester United’s official MUTV app, which usually broadcasts the Red Devil’s friendly matches, while the game against Liverpool will also be available to watch and stream online live through LFCTV and LFCTVGO.
When does the 2024-25 season start for Man Utd?
The Premier League fixtures for the 2024-25 season are set to be released at 4 am ET/9 am BST on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, with the first matchday usually slated for around mid-August. So, United will have approximately two weeks between their final pre-season game and their first competitive match of the season.
Once the season begins, Ten Hag’s side will see themselves involved in the Carabao Cup and the Europa League subject to qualification.
