Revealed: Why Arsenal & Man Utd could sign Bologna star Joshua Zirkzee for just £34m despite Serie A side wanting much more

  • Zirkzee has release clause in contract
  • European elite keen on striker
  • Has shone under Motta at Bologna

WHAT HAPPENED?

Despite the Serie A side wanting much more for the in-form 22-year-old, he is in line to be snapped up for as little as £34 million (€39m/$43m). As reported by Gazzetta, that is the fixed price for the striker which has been agreed between his entourage and Bologna. The figure was a release clause for previous club Bayern Munich, but is now the amount also set for the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United – with the Bundesliga outfit holding the first-choice option.
