WHAT HAPPENED?

The 2024 MLS All-Star Game roster has officially arrived, with 30 of the finest players in the league set to take the stage on July 24 against the Liga MX All-Star squad in Columbus at Lower.com Field.

The roster was selected through a combination of voting among fans, players, media members, All-Star coach Wilfried Nancy, the Columbus Crew and MLS commissioner Don Garber.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Columbus Crew lead the way with five roster selections, with Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami trailing just behind with four.

The reigning MLS Cup Champions have three new All-Star Game debutants, while all four of the Herons’ selections will make their first appearance in the game, as well.

In total, 18 different MLS clubs will be represented on the roster, with 18 of the 30 players selected making their All-Star debut.

WHAT NEXT FOR THE MLS ALL-STAR SQUAD?

The group will come together before their July 24 clash with the best in Mexico to prepare for the match. Ahead of it, though, will be the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge, which pits the two leagues head-to-head in a series of games and challenges on July 23, the night before.

Both events will be streamed on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
