Christian Pulisic has made USMNT history with his 30th international goal, becoming the quickest man to reach that mark for his country.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The AC Milan forward, who enjoyed a career-best year in front of goal at club level in 2023-24, was on target for the United States as they opened their Copa America campaign with a 2-0 victory over Bolivia. Pulisic also posted an assist in that contest while donning the captain’s armband.

He delivered again when it matters most against Bolivia, with his goal in that contest coming inside three minutes – the fastest that the USMNT have ever posted against CONMEBOL opposition. That strike also took him to 30 through 69 senior international appearances, which is another notable record.

Pulisic has moved into the top five on the United States’ all-time goal chart, with 30 strikes pulling him level with Brian McBride. Only Eric Wynalda, Jozy Altidore, Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey sit above him – wit the top two boasting 57 goals apiece.
