Mbappe is still considered a top prospect and there were talks of renewing his deal had Kylian opted to stay in his hometown. He now has the chance to step out of his brother’s shadow and make a name for himself in the brutal world of professional football.

With the news that Mbappe will not be heading to Real Madrid alongside his family member, the market is open for him to choose his next club. Reports have linked him to Ligue 1 side Lille where he would perhaps have an easier path into the first team compared to a European giants like PSG.
