WHAT HAPPENED?

The Bundesliga side, who lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League final earlier this month, have parted company with Terzic after he asked them to “terminate his contract” immediately.

The former forward said in a video message to fans: “After the [Champions League final] game at Wembley, I asked for a meeting with the club’s senior management team, because after nine years at BVB – including six on the coaching staff and two and a half as head coach – I feel that the club’s new era should begin with a new man on the touchline.”

Now Sancho, who joined BVB on loan from Manchester United in January, has sent a message to the German-Croatian.
