THE BIGGER PICTURE

Reports have suggested that the youngster is fond of sporting director Michael Edwards rather than a demand from Slot. Since joining Midtjylland, the Chilean has scored eight goals and garnered two assists in 24 appearances.

WHAT MIDTJYLLAND SPORTING DIRECTOR SAID

When asked about Osorio’s potential departure, Midtjylland’s sporting director Ove Pederson said [via SportsWitness]: “You will understand that we cannot comment on possible offers for our players. WHAT NEXT FOR OSORIO?

Thanks to his exciting form this season, Osorio has already made his way into the Chilean national team as they look to challenge for the Copa America after a disappointing few years. As for Liverpool, they will look to open conversations as soon as possible with the Danish club as they will be eager to make the first signing of the Slot era.
