In a post that reached 15,000 likes and prompted nearly 300 replies on X, Domino’s tweeted a picture of one of their empty boxes with the caption: “Introducing our new ‘Sympathy for Man City’ pizza.”

THE BIGGER PICTURE
City’s challenge to the Premier League comes while they are facing their own battle. The club have 115 charges stacked up against them for breaching financial fair play rules. If they are found guilty, City could face a huge points deduction or even relegation.
WHAT NEXT FOR MANCHESTER CITY?
City’s claim will be heard over two weeks in June through the process of arbitration. They are seeking damages for loss in revenue due to restricted sponsorship deals that have not been approved by the Premier League. If successful, they could loosen the reins on financial interest between clubs that have the same owners.
