WHAT HAPPENED?
Watt is set to play for Burnley at The Soccer Tournament 2024, a 7-a-side event taking place in Cary, North Carolina. Ahead of the start of the tournament, the NFL legend has been showing off his skills on the pitch but had a nightmare when he went in goal. Watt managed to get both hands on the ball from a shot on goal but then saw it slip through his fingers and into the back of the net.

WHAT WATT SAID
The NFL legend seemed pretty embarrassed by the incident, posting about the footage afterwards on X: “Delete from the internet please. Delete. Thanks Elon.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Watt did manage to redeem himself by putting the ball in the back of the net with a diving header. The goal also brought a confident claim from the Burnely man, who said: “This game is really pretty easy if I’m being honest.”
