It was a vintage Lionel Messi moment, as he combined with his longtime friend to equalize the match in the 25th minute. The Argentine drilled home his effort from the edge of the box after Jordi Alba laid him off brilliantly for the assist.

Miami condeded the opening goal of the contest after Chris Durkin scored a truly stupendous effort. The CITY midfielder’s brilliant first touch on top of the box off a corner kick set him up for a first-time effort that he drilled into the back of the net.
