The Guardian report further mentions that despite the initial promise of stability under Pochettino, Chelsea had concerns about his tactical approach, with some sources describing his training methods as outdated. Furthermore, Pochettino’s desire for greater control over signings was not to be accommodated

While McKenna is a leading candidate, Chelsea are considering other options as well. Brentford’s Thomas Frank, Girona’s Míchel, Leicester’s Enzo Maresca, and Stuttgart’s Sebastian Hoeness are all on their shortlist. Vincent Kompany, despite Burnley’s relegation, is also being viewed as a potential dark horse.
