WHAT HAPPENED?

During Mental Health Awareness Week (May 13-19), the Three Lions striker joined the BBC’s Team Moodboosters for a ‘Huddle with Harry’. The 30-year-old spoke about the positives of talking about your feelings, not bottling them all up, and chatting to a teacher, carer, parent or sports coach for help.

WHAT HARRY KANE SAID

In his Instagram post, former Tottenham forward Kane wrote: “As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, I was delighted to give a little team talk for BBC Life Lessons about how youngsters can open up about their feelings.”

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kane has developed a reputation for being one of the best strikers in the world off the back of playing for Tottenham, Bayern Munich, and England. But for all his efforts on the pitch, the Three Lions skipper is also doing great work to help people’s mental health, too.

WHAT NEXT?

Kane has been out with a back injury of late but he will hope to feature in Bayern’s last Bundesliga game of the season, an away trip to Hoffenheim this weekend. After that, the striker will prepare for this year’s Euros with England.
