WHAT HAPPENED?
The Georgian international has been heavily linked with Paris Saint-Germain as the French club look to secure a replacement for the outgoing Kylian Mbappe. Kvaratskhelia caught the world’s attention last season as he played a starring role in Napoli’s first Serie A triumph in over 30 years. While the Neapolitans have struggled this term, currently sitting ninth in the table, the winger has still recorded 10 goals and six assists in 32 league appearances.

But per TMW, his agent Mamuka Jugeli said: “We are in no hurry to make a decision because Naples in Khvicha’s second home. We appreciate the care and respect that Napoli and Mr. President have shown towards Khvicha. Only if there is an offer that satisfies the club, the player and if De Laurentiis is not against it, will we consider it.”

WHAT NEXT FOR NAPOLI?
Napoli will look to end their tough season on a high with wins against Fiorentina and Lecce in their final two Serie A fixtures. But Francesco Calzona’s side are unable to qualify for next season’s Champions League, a predicament which could see the likes of Kvaratskhelia and star striker Victor Osimhen plot moves elsewhere this summer.
