According to The Athletic, Ramos is set to be a free agent this summer, and is not expected to renew his contract with boyhood club Sevilla. As a result, San Diego FC are making an ambitious play at securing his signature.

Ramos is the second high-profile target that SDFC are going after this summer, with the other being Mexico star Chucky Lozano. The winger is rumored to be the subject of a multi-million dollar bid from the MLS side, who are looking to secure his services from PSV this summer.
