Zwane’s injury is a major worry ahead of Bafana Bafana’s 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers in June.
South Africa visit Nigeria and then host Zimbabwe in matches Zwane’s experience would be needed.
At 34, the Sundowns star is one of the most experienced Bafana players and expectations are on him to help the national team qualify for the World Cup.
WHAT NEXT FOR ZWANE?
After meeting Royal AM on Saturday, Sundowns are now left with four PSL matches before the season ends.
They also have the Nedbank Cup final to play against Orlando Pirates and that is another match Zwane would be needed.
